We are seeking an experienced Software Team Leader to lead and inspire a technical team delivering innovative solutions across HealthTech sectors, including IVD, Wearables, Sensor Technologies, Connectivity, and Drug Delivery Devices. You will act as a technical lead on medium to large-scale projects, ensuring high standards of software development and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a software team fostering a positive, ethical culture aligned with company values.
Oversee design, development, and maintenance of software applications and systems.
Ensure compliance with SHE, GMP, Data Integrity, and quality standards.
Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and maintain coding standards.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
Support business development and contribute to proposals and customer engagement.
About You
Significant technical expertise in software development and problem-solving.
Proven experience in supervising teams and delivering complex projects.
Strong knowledge of software medical devices or safety-critical systems.
Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO13485) and Systems Engineering V-Model.
Skilled in systems thinking, engineering, or integration within MedTech or similar sectors.
Qualifications
Degree (or higher) in a Scientific/Engineering discipline with relevant industrial experience.
Management training or supervisory qualification desirable.
Chartered status with a professional institution preferred.
