Caritas Recruitment is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead a Care Experienced Young People's Team within Children's Social Care.
This is an excellent opportunity to manage a dedicated team supporting young people aged 16+ as they prepare for independence and navigate adulthood. The service works with care experienced young people to ensure they have the support, guidance and opportunities needed to achieve positive outcomes in education, employment, housing, health and financial independence.
About the Team
The Care Experienced Young People's Team supports young people from age 16 onwards, helping them plan for their transition into adulthood and providing ongoing support after they leave care. The team remains involved until the young person reaches 21 years of age, or longer where they continue in education.
As Team Manager, you will provide strong leadership, oversight and operational management to ensure high-quality services are delivered to young people, supporting them to achieve successful and sustainable independence.
Requirements
Social Work England registration
Proven management experience within Children's Social Care
Experience working with care experienced young people and leaving care services
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and best practice
Essential car user
Access to your own vehicle
Full-time availability
Ideally locally based
Pay Rates
PAYE: £35.86 per hour
Umbrella: £45.92 per hour (£44.34 + £1.58 HPIL)This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed service making a real difference to the lives of care experienced young people.
