We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong civil engineering background to join a major infrastructure project based across Argyll & Bute.
This role will involve overseeing multiple live sites delivering works including:
Overhead line (OHL) infrastructure
Underground cabling
Bridges and structures
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations across multiple civil engineering sites.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor progress, programme, and site performance.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Produce site reports and ensure project documentation is completed accurately.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering.
- Strong civil engineering project experience is essential.
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer or Civil Engineer would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Experience delivering infrastructure projects such as utilities, bridges, structures, or similar civil works.
- Comfortable managing multiple sites simultaneously.
- Willingness to work away from home is essential.
