Site Manager – Healthcare (Nationwide)
Location: Nationwide, with travel and lodge accommodation provided
Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: Up to £52,000 DOE + package (scope for more senior candidates)
The company
Our client is a well-established, growing building contractor delivering projects across the healthcare, education and commercial sectors. Healthcare is a core part of their business: they deliver specialist schemes for clients across the UK, and much of their work comes from repeat clients.
The role
Our client is looking for a Site Manager to run healthcare projects across the country. You know your way around a live site, can keep things running smoothly, and don’t panic when someone asks “Have you got a minute?” The role is pitched at intermediate level, with flexibility for more senior candidates with the right experience.
What you’ll be doing
* Day-to-day running of healthcare projects, often within live hospital or clinical environments
* Coordinating subcontractors, trades and deliveries
* Leading on site health and safety, inductions, RAMS review and compliance
* Working closely with hospital staff and estates teams to minimise disruption
* Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to the Contracts Manager
* Maintaining quality and a high standard of finish
* Managing snagging, handover and close-out
What we’re looking for
* Site Manager experience with a building contractor
* Healthcare project experience (essential)
* Medical imaging equipment experience (e.g. MRI, CT or X-ray room installations) is a distinct advantage
* Confident working in live environments where infection control and minimal disruption are key
* Happy to travel nationwide and stay away during the week
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), First Aid
* Full UK driving licence
What’s on offer
* Up to £52,000 depending on experience, with flexibility for senior candidates
* Lodge/accommodation and travel provided
* Package
* Varied, specialist healthcare projects across the UK
* A stable contractor with a strong pipeline of repeat work
