A growing, innovation-led biotechnology company based in the Cambridge area is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the development of advanced instrumentation platforms used in cutting-edge scientific research. You'll play a key role in designing and developing high-quality application and control software across Windows and Linux environments, working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop data collection and analysis software (Python and TypeScript)
Contribute to instrument control software (C#) and embedded systems (C++)
Support full software lifecycle including testing, release, and maintenance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support documentation and training Skills & Experience:
5+ years' software engineering experience
Strong skills in Python and TypeScript
Experience with C#, C++, and cross-platform development (Windows/Linux)
Knowledge of CI/CD and agile methodologies
