The Role: A Strategic Leadership Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager ready to step into a role with the visibility and impact of a Sales Director. This is not simply a sales job — it is a chance to shape Maver UK's commercial roadmap, elevate our retailer partnerships, and guide a high-performing national sales team.

You will be a central voice in the future of Maver UK, working closely with European leadership and contributing directly to strategic growth initiatives across the group.

What You Will Lead

National Sales Leadership: Develop, inspire, and empower a distributed team across the UK.

Strategic Commercial Planning: Own budgeting, forecasting, P&L oversight, and margin optimisation.

Market & Category Growth: Identify opportunities across match, coarse, carp, and specialist angling sectors.

Retailer Excellence: Strengthen partnerships with key accounts, distributors, and major chains.

Cross-Functional Influence: Work with product development, marketing, and operations to drive aligned, insight-led decisions.

Brand Representation: Be the face of Maver UK at major trade fairs, dealer events, and industry platforms.

Who You Are

You are a senior commercial leader with the gravitas, strategic vision, and operational discipline to elevate a premium brand. You bring:

Significant experience leading high-performing sales teams

A strong commercial mindset grounded in data, profitability, and long-term value creation

Proven success managing budgets, P&L, and strategic pricing

Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills

A passion for technical or premium consumer goods — knowledge of fishing tackle is a major advantage

A proactive, accountable leadership style and the confidence to influence at senior level
