A growing construction consultancy in London is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its commercial and private sector team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who can lead multiple projects, take ownership of key clients, and play an active role in helping to grow the wider project management team.

The Senior Project Manager will work with major institutional and private sector clients, including leading global investment organisations, while managing a varied portfolio of commercial projects. This Senior Project Manager role would suit a commercially minded Senior Project Manager who is confident with business development, account management, and senior client relationships. The successful Senior Project Manager will be expected to deliver projects independently, support team growth, and help generate repeat business through strong client service.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of multiple commercial and private sector projects across London, taking responsibility from inception through to completion.

The Senior Project Manager will manage programmes, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. They will chair project meetings, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

The Senior Project Manager will also take ownership of key client accounts, support business development, identify new opportunities, and contribute to the growth of the project management team.

The successful Senior Project Manager will have:

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Strong commercial and private sector project experience
A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with key client ownership and account management
Business development and repeat business generation experience
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or another relevant professional qualification
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial project delivery
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
A commercially aware and proactive approach
