The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of projects across the full lifecycle, ensuring successful outcomes in terms of cost, programme, and quality. The Senior Project Manager will act as the primary client interface, providing strategic advice and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

You will manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration throughout. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project controls, risk management, and reporting, ensuring projects remain on track and aligned with client expectations.

The Senior Project Manager will also mentor junior team members, contributing to their development while maintaining high delivery standards. In addition, the Senior Project Manager will be involved in both pre- and post-contract duties, utilising strong knowledge of contract administration and procurement strategies.

The Senior Project Manager

The ideal Senior Project Manager will have a proven track record of delivering complex construction projects within a consultancy environment. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills are essential.

A degree in a construction-related discipline is required, alongside professional accreditation such as MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent. Extensive knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts is expected.

The Senior Project Manager will be commercially aware, proactive, and confident in managing multiple stakeholders and priorities. Experience in leading teams and delivering high-value projects is essential.
