A growing construction consultancy in London is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of office, residential, and logistics projects while working closely with Partners who remain actively involved throughout every commission.
The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of project delivery from inception through to completion, leading client relationships and multidisciplinary teams while receiving support from the firm's highly experienced Partners. This Senior Project Manager role would suit an accomplished Senior Project Manager who enjoys taking responsibility for project delivery while working within a collaborative consultancy where senior leadership remains hands-on. The successful Senior Project Manager will have excellent client-facing skills and be keen to contribute to the continued growth of the business.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will lead office, residential, and logistics projects through all stages of delivery.
The Senior Project Manager will manage programmes, procurement, consultant teams, contract administration, stakeholder engagement, project reporting, commercial matters, and project risks. They will oversee project performance, maintain strong client relationships, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards.
Although responsible for leading projects, the Senior Project Manager will benefit from ongoing support and involvement from the consultancy's Partners throughout project delivery.
The Senior Project Manager
The successful Senior Project Manager will have:
Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Proven experience delivering construction projects independently
Experience across office, residential, logistics, or similar sectors
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
MRICS or be working towards achieving chartership
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and project delivery
Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams
A proactive and commercially aware approach
