Location: Islington, London - 222 Upper Street, N1 1XR
Pay Rate: £37.46 per hour (Limited/Umbrella)
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days remote, 3 days in the office

Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join Islington Council's Integrated Health and Care Front Door Service.
The service aims to provide a timely response to residents' care needs through a holistic, multidisciplinary and coordinated approach.
This is an exciting opportunity to embed an Occupational Therapy perspective within a fast-paced front door service. You will play a key role in shaping pathways, working across Health and Care, and promoting residents' independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Islington is investing in its Occupational Therapy workforce, recognising the specialist contribution OTs make within Front Door services, early intervention and prevention.
What You'll Do
Provide strong Occupational Therapy leadership and professional expertise within the service.
Promote best practice and continuous improvement across Occupational Therapy.
Champion strengths-based and person-centred approaches.
Identify residents who may benefit from early intervention and prevention.
Complete Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions in line with the Care Act 2014.
Apply service criteria and support appropriate case closure and transfer decisions.
Act as a key point of contact for complex cases and professional consultation.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary Health and Care teams to deliver joined-up support.
Contribute to service development, strategic planning and quality assurance.
Promote independence and wellbeing through effective Occupational Therapy interventions.
Maintain high standards of professional conduct, performance and ethics.
Requirements
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist is essential.
Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
Significant post-qualification experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
Previous experience within Adult Social Care, community or integrated health and care services.
Strong experience in Front Door, early intervention, prevention or hospital discharge services would be highly desirable.
Good knowledge and practical application of the Care Act 2014.
Strong assessment, risk management and care planning skills.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
Demonstrable experience managing complex cases and providing professional advice/consultancy.
Experience contributing to service development, quality improvement or strategic planning.
Excellent communication, report-writing and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a hybrid working model.
