Job Description
We are looking for experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistants to join our agency team and work across HC-One care homes.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play an important role in providing high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and leading a team of Care Assistants. You will work closely with the Registered Nurse and Home Manager to ensure residents receive safe, dignified and personalised care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support Care Assistants during shifts.
* Provide person-centred care while promoting residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing.
* Support residents with personal care, mobility and daily activities.
* Follow individual care plans and report any changes in residents' needs.
* Work closely with Registered Nurses and the Home Manager.
* Support medication administration where appropriately trained and authorised.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation.
* Communicate professionally with residents, families and colleagues.
* Follow safeguarding, health & safety and infection-control procedures.
* Respond appropriately to residents' physical, emotional and social needs.
* Ensure high standards of care are maintained throughout the shift.
** We’re mainly looking for candidates with no restrictions on working hours who can work 30+ hours per week. Please note, we do not offer sponsorship
