Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:
* Lead, support, and motivate a team of Care Assistants, setting a high standard of care.
* Administer medication and monitor residents’ health and wellbeing.
* Carry out risk assessments and contribute to personalised care plans.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
* Promote residents’ independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing.
* Liaise effectively with healthcare professionals, residents’ families, and colleagues.
Requirements
* Proven experience in elderly care, dementia care, or a similar setting.
* Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a care team.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – essential.
* Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding practices.
* Professional, compassionate, and reliable with excellent communication skills.
