Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week | £14.40 per hour
Day Shifts Available: 8:00am–8:00pm, 8:00am–2:00pm or 2:00pm–8:00pm

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join the day team at a newly owned boutique retirement home in the picturesque village of Little Dunham, Norfolk.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dedicated team within a small, resident-focused care setting that prides itself on delivering personalised, high-quality care. The home provides residential care for 18 residents, offering a warm, welcoming environment where residents are supported to live comfortably, independently, and with dignity.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents
Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities
Assist with medication administration where required
Promote residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing
Maintain accurate care records and documentation
Support and mentor junior care staff during day shifts
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging home environment

Candidate Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
Previous experience within a residential care setting
Experience in a Senior Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant role advantageous
Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lead by example and support colleagues
Genuine passion for providing exceptional care for older people
