We are partnering with national manufacture who continue to provide cutting edge technology across their product lines. They are now seeking a finance professional who is proactive, organised and confident in delivering their workloads.

The Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller across a broad range of financial control, reporting, governance, and operational responsibilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a solid understanding of financial control processes, fixed asset management, and cashflow reporting

Key Responsibilities.

Support the Preparation and maintenance of the monthly Management Accounts & Department Reports
Manage the Fixed Asset Register, including annual asset stock takes, additions, disposals, depreciation, and year end impairment assessment support
Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies
Oversee supplier and employee expense payment run approvals, ensuring coding accuracy and appropriate supporting documentation
Support budgeting and forecasting processes through data preparation, variance analysis, and template managementWe are looking for a candidate with strong experience as a Senior Accountant, Finance Officer, or similar positions. You will ideally be part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA, or AAT Level 4 qualified with solid industry experience. A strong grasp of financial controls, fixed asset management, and cashflow reporting is essential, along with confidence in approving transactions and acting as a key financial control checkpoint.

You’ll be highly accurate, organised, and comfortable working independently, with strong Excel skills (including lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis) and good proficiency across financial systems. A clear and professional communication style is important, as is the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
