We are looking for an RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor to join our team from 25th March – 30th September.
Role
To act as Duty Officer during peak season and coach and instruct children, young people and adults in a variety of water and land based activities and sports.
You will be running the centre during opening hours and responsible for all staff, activities and safety standards and providing support for the front of house team including instructors and reception.
What we are looking for
A suitably qualified and experienced Senior Instructor / Duty Officer to work with us for the peak season of April to September.
You will ideally have a minimum of a RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor and a BCU Level 1/Paddle Instructor or Leader qualification to qualify, combined with proven experience of leading a small team in a busy operation outdoor centre environment.
This is not a job for the faint hearted as at times, you will be busy and under pressure, having to coordinate conflicting priorities with a comprehensive understanding of all parts of the operation.
We will give you training and support and you will report directly to the Operations Director.
Working hours will include evenings and weekends on a shift rota basis with the other Duty Officers.
Great rates of pay on offer dependent on qualifications and experience, together with a benefits package that includes paid holiday entitlement, socials, camp overs and more fun than you can shake a stick at.
Apply now with your CV and a covering email to introduce yourself and what you feel you can uniquely bring to our team.
