Senior Construction Procurement Manager

We're partnering with a Local Authority in Essex to recruit an experienced Senior Construction Procurement Manager (Interim - 12 months or longer). This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on procurement professional who wants to make a tangible impact.

Rate: £550 per day (umbrella)

You'll play a key role in delivering an ambitious housing investment programme-supporting improvements to over 9,000 council homes, with £70m allocated to this year's capital programme alone. This is procurement with purpose, where your work directly benefits the local community.

Location: Harlow (2 days on site)

What you'll be doing:

Leading end-to-end construction procurement activity

Preparing and managing tender processes through to contract award

Supporting delivery of projects both above and below PA23 thresholds

Providing guidance and oversight to direct reports, ensuring high-quality output and performance

Collaborating closely with Property and Procurement colleagues across a varied and high-value pipeline

This role would suit someone who:
