Hours: 40 hours per week – Full Time
Shifts: 3–5 day shifts per week (occasional night shifts may be required)
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team at our well-established residential care home in West Bromwich. Our service supports over 30 residents aged 60+, providing high-quality residential care for older people, including those living with dementia.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key leadership role on shift, ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care while supporting and guiding care staff.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality personal and dementia care

Act as a senior presence on shift, supporting and mentoring care staff
*
Assist with care plans, risk assessments, and daily documentation
*
Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all residents
*
Liaise effectively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience as a Senior Care Assistant
*
Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
*
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
*
A caring, professional, and reliable approach to work
*
Experience working in elderly and dementia care settings
