The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care throughout the night. You'll support the wellbeing, dignity, and independence of residents while supervising care staff and maintaining excellent standards of care delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading and supporting the care team during night shifts
* Ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, person-centred care
* Administering medication in line with policies and procedures
* Maintaining accurate care plans and care records
* Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities
* Monitoring wellbeing and responding appropriately to changing needs
* Building positive relationships with residents and their families
* Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and colleagues
* Promoting safeguarding and resident welfare at all times
* Acting as a role model for best practice and quality care
What We're Looking For
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
* Level 3 Medication qualification
* Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant or similar role
* Strong understanding of medication management
* Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* A caring, compassionate, and professional approach
* Passion for delivering exceptional care and improving lives
