The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant (Nights), you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained overnight, while providing leadership and guidance to the care team.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting care staff during night shifts
• Delivering exceptional, person-centred care to residents
• Supporting residents with night-time routines and individual needs
• Administering medication (training provided if required)
• Maintaining accurate care plans and documentation
• Ensuring a calm, safe, and reassuring environment overnight
• Promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times

About You

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior care role within a care home setting
• A calm, compassionate, and proactive approach
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Medication training (desirable but not essential)
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
