We are recruiting for a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Hemel Hempstead, providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with Autism, ADHD and complex learning, communication and sensory needs.

Key Responsibilities
Delivering consistent 1:1 support tailored to individual pupil needs.
Supporting pupils with learning, communication and sensory needs.
Implementing personalised learning and behavioural strategies.
Using visual communication tools and sensory approaches.
Promoting independence, confidence and social development.
Supporting personal care requirements where appropriate.
Maintaining a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment.
Working collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists and wider support teams.
Monitoring and encouraging pupil engagement and progress.What We're Looking For
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
An understanding of Autism and/or ADHD.
A patient, consistent and nurturing approach.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
