SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge? Yorkshire Education is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a short term placement. This is to work at a York Primary school, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 1:00pm. It is to work with a child who has SEMH needs and spends most of their time out of the classroom in an alternative provision. It is to start on Monday 1st June and will end on Friday 17th July.
What skills and experience we are looking for:
Experience working with children who have special educational needs
KS2 experience
The ability to inspire, motivate and challenge young people
Commitment to fulfil wider professional responsibilities
Build and maintain appropriate relationships with staff, students, and parents
Aspire to be an Outstanding teaching assistant in all aspects of the role
