Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of specialist SEN schools and hospital education settings across South West London, who are seeking highly experienced SEN Teachers to support pupils with a range of complex needs.
This role is suitable for confident and knowledgeable SEN Teachers who have a strong background working with children and young people with additional needs in UK-based school or hospital settings.
About the Role
Teaching pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD and complex needs
Delivering adapted and individualised learning to meet EHCP targets
Working closely with support staff, therapists, and multi-disciplinary teams
Roles available across special schools, SEN units, and hospital education settings
Day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements available
Full-time and part-time opportunities
Essential Requirements – Please Read Carefully
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
✔️ Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with SEN children in the UK
✔️ Experience in a UK SEN school or hospital education setting
✔️ Strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning plans
✔️ Confident behaviour management and trauma-informed practice
✔️ Ability to work flexibly with pupils of varying needs and abilities
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
⚠️ Please do not apply if you do not hold QTS or do not have at least 6 months’ UK SEN experience. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
