Job Title: SEN Maths and English Tutor (Part-Time)
Location: Oldham
Start Date: After Easter Half Term
Pay Rate: GBP25 per hour (starting rate)
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time

Our SEN tutors play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to overcome barriers to learning in Maths and English. This role focuses on delivering personalised, one-to-one support to help students build confidence, improve attainment, and re-engage with education.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-to-one Maths and English tuition tailored to individual SEN needs and abilities.
Adapt teaching strategies to suit a range of learning profiles, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs.
Support students in developing core subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence.
Build positive, consistent relationships to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents, carers, and professionals where appropriate.

Essential Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths and/or English.
Experience working with students with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis.
Right to work in the UK.
Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.

Desirable Qualifications:
PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
