We are Aspire People, working in partnership with local schools in Hinckley to support children with special educational needs (SEN). Our mission is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our team starting September 2026. You will work with a range of SEN-aged children, providing hands-on support to help them engage in learning and develop essential skills. This role is ideal for graduates eager to gain practical experience while making a meaningful difference.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
Support children with SEN in developing academic, social, and emotional skills.
Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Observe, monitor, and report on children's progress and needs.
Encourage positive behavior and active participation in learning.

Requirements:

Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Experience working with children (volunteer, placement, or paid work).
Passion for supporting children with SEN.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive, proactive attitude.
