What We’re Looking For
We want someone who:
Has proven experience teaching pupils with SEMH needs
Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Is calm under pressure and thrives on challenge
Understands attachment, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour as communication
Can balance high expectations with deep empathy
Has a brilliant sense of humour (essential!)
Bonus points if you:
Have experience in alternative provision or specialist settings
Can bring a creative or vocational specialism
Love a challenge and believe no child is ever “too hard to teach”
