M Pro Recruitment is working with a leading security systems provider to recruit an experienced Security Systems Estimator based in Harlow.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for pricing and estimating security system installation projects, producing accurate and competitive tenders, and submitting compliant proposals in line with British Standards. The role involves site surveys, cost breakdowns, supplier liaison, and working closely with internal teams and clients to secure new and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate estimates, take-offs, and project costings
*
Review tenders, quotes, and pricing for security installation projects
*
Conduct site surveys and assess project risks
*
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal technical teams
*
Submit competitive proposals while maintaining agreed profit margins
*
Support business growth through new and existing client relationships
Requirements:
*
Minimum 3 years’ experience in security systems estimating (or similar)
*
Knowledge of British Standards (NACOSS, BAFE SP203, BS5839)
*
Understanding of security systems and components
*
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
*
Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office
*
Relevant industry qualifications beneficial but not essential
