Security Systems Engineer

Location: East London and the surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £40,000 per year DOE
Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent

Our client, a long-established and expanding security solutions provider, is seeking experienced Security Systems Engineers to join their growing team. Whether your background is in installation, service, or maintenance, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a role offering local work, stability, and ongoing professional development.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will work on a mix of:

* Intruder alarms

* CCTV systems

* Fire alarm systems

* Access control systems

Typical tasks include:

* Installing, servicing and maintaining security systems

* Diagnosing and rectifying faults

* Working independently or as part of a team

* Delivering excellent communication and customer service

* Participating in a call-out rota (with generous standby pay)

Systems you may work on

* Access: Paxton, PAC, Salto

* Intruder: Galaxy, Scantronic, Texecom, Menvier, ATS

* Fire: Advanced, Morley, Kentec, Gent

* CCTV: Concept Pro, Hikvision

What our client is looking for

* 2+ years’ experience in the security systems industry

* Strong problem-solving ability

* Self-motivated with good organisational skills

* Confident communicator

* Willing to work independently or within a team

* Full UK driving licence
