This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Service Engineer. The role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems. Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
* Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and equipment, ensuring all installations are completed safely, correctly, and efficiently.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks and verify that all security systems are fully operational.
* Respond promptly to customer feedback, including satisfaction reports and complaints, while upholding Health & Safety (H&S) standards during all on-site activities.
* Complete and submit all relevant service documentation accurately to the Service Desk Administrators.
* Perform service-related tasks across the client portfolio, ensuring systems operate in line with client standards and maintaining high levels of service quality and satisfaction.
* Attend reactive callouts for system faults within agreed response times, complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements and manage false alarm incidents and repeat activations.
* Carry out service dayworks as required and participate in the out-of-hours callout rota.
* Provide technical support over the phone to clients, contractors, and colleagues.
* Cover London and various regions across the UK, with occasional overtime as needed. A full UK driving licence is preferred.
* Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client security information and site details.
* Conduct site surveys, client risk assessments, and health & safety evaluations to ensure the delivery of professional and cost-effective services.
* Adhere to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and all associated standards.
Compulsory BS7858 / BPSS will be carried out.
Qualifications
* Certifications or experience with Lenel, Gallagher, C Cure, or Avigilon are a bonus
* Experience in CCTV / Access control Installation and Electrical Wiring
* Skills in Maintenance and troubleshooting of security equipment
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant certifications and qualifications in engineering or related fields
* ECS/ CSCS registered with an in-date certifications.
Package:
* Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 (call out rota)
* Salary: £35k-£42k pa (DOE)
* Paid travel
