Security Officer

Location: Rugby
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rotating days and nights

Join our team and play a vital role in safeguarding our client’s people, assets, and secure facilities.

What You’ll Do:

* Act as a visible deterrent and uphold our client’s security standards.

* Perform front-facing security and visitor reception duties during business hours.

* Monitor CCTV and alarm systems across multiple sites.

* Conduct searches of individuals entering/exiting operational areas.

* Manage vehicle bookings and liaise with logistics teams.

* Respond to incidents, escalate when necessary, and liaise with emergency services.

* Carry out regular patrols and maintain accurate security documentation.

* Administer first aid when required.

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience in security or customer-facing roles (gatehouse duties, CCTV monitoring, etc.).

* Ability to work various shift patterns, independently and as part of a team.

* SIA license and/or SC clearance (advantageous but not essential).

* Strong IT skills and attention to detail.

* Professional, calm, and confident under pressure.

* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Security Checks - Due to the nature of our client’s work, successful candidates will undergo:

* DBS (Criminal Records Check)

* BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard)

* NSV (National Security Vetting)
