Job Title: Security and Incident Management Officer

Shifts: Rotating 4 on 4 off

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly professional and dedicated Security and Incident Management Officer (SIMO) to join our expanding team, playing a vital role in safeguarding our secure facility, assets, and personnel. The SIMO will maintain a strong visible presence on-site, acting as a deterrent to unlawful or inappropriate activity while ensuring the safety of people and property. The successful candidate will actively uphold our values and commitment to a secure working environment.
Key responsibilities:
- front-facing engagement during business hours
- support incident management
- alarm response in coordination with our Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC),
- ensuring timely investigations and communication with emergency services when required.
- Some Security and Visitor Reception duties during business hours
- Searches of individuals entering/exiting the operational area
- Assess risk of theft and feedback to leadership
- Booking in and out of delivery vehicles
- CCTV monitoring and investigation
- Maintaining Security documents
- Incident management (including Security, fire & facilities)
- ID checks on all visitors
- Administer First aid where require
The sucsessful candidate will be subject to the following checks:
- DBS
- BPSS
- NSV
Personal Attributes:
- Computer/IT literate
- Must be able to maintain a professional, positive attitude towards all staff, contractors and visitors
- Articulate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Calm and confident under pressure
- Willing to cover additional shifts where required
- Passionate about the security and safety of people and property
