Are you someone who takes pride in staying alert, keeping people and property safe, and working independently? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our team at Grangemouth Port.
As part of a global freight operation, you'll play a vital role in protecting our terminal, ensuring everything is secure, organised, and ready for the next day's operations.
🔍 What You'll Be Doing
Carry out hourly patrols across the terminal, keeping a close eye on containers, equipment, and materials
Act as the first line of defence against unauthorised access, theft, or damage
Monitor CCTV and access points, including gate control duties
Respond quickly and confidently to alarms or incidents
Keep accurate records and provide regular updates to the Duty Manager
Support smooth operations by ensuring the site is ready for the next shift
Deliver clear and professional handover reports each morning
💪 What We're Looking For
Someone reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working alone at night
Strong attention to detail and observational skills
Physically fit and happy to carry out regular outdoor patrols in all weather
Calm and confident in handling unexpected situations or emergencies
Good communication and reporting skills
