Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a school in the Taunton area to recruit a Science Teacher to support pupils across in a local School.
This opportunity is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers with roles ranging from long term placements to potential permanent opportunities, depending on the school.
The Role
Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across the curriculum
Teach Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics, depending on specialism
Plan, assess and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Create a safe, positive and well-managed learning environment
Work collaboratively with departmental staff and wider school teams

Supportive leadership teams and well-structured Science departments
Access to well-equipped laboratories and resources
Positive behaviour policies and strong safeguarding practices
Schools located across the Taunton area
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Science Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or ECT
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science
Ability to engage and motivate pupils of all abilities
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
