A successful and forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Science Teacher with the ability to teach their specialism up to A-Level (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong Science department with high standards, supportive leadership, and a commitment to academic excellence.

The Role

Teach Science across KS3 & KS4, with A-Level delivery in your specialist subject

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for mixed-ability groups

Use assessment effectively to track progress, identify gaps, and raise attainment

Maintain excellent behaviour routines and foster a positive learning environment

Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment, and department development

Inspire and motivate students to pursue further study in Science

We're Looking For

QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics

Experience teaching your specialism at A-Level

Excellent behaviour management and confident classroom delivery

A positive, reflective and high-standards teacher

Someone who can integrate quickly into a collaborative department
