We are currently working with a secondary school in Crewe to recruit a Science Teacher for a full-time role starting in April, with the opportunity for ad-hoc supply cover.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
Safely plan and deliver practical experiments
Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider staff team
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Must-Have Skills
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Science
Confident classroom and behaviour management
Ability to deliver practical lessons safely
Clear communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Nice to Have
GCSE and KS4 exam experience
Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
SEND, SEMH or intervention experience
Experience using assessment data to support pupil progress
