A highly successful secondary academy in Croydon is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Graduate Tutor to support students preparing for their GCSE and A-Level examinations. The Role
Working closely with the Science department, you will provide targeted academic support to Year 11 and Year 13 students through small-group intervention sessions designed to boost confidence, close knowledge gaps, and improve exam performance.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver focused small-group tuition across the Science curriculum
Support GCSE and A-Level students with revision strategies and exam preparation
Explain scientific concepts in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner
Work alongside teaching staff to identify and address areas of weakness
Monitor student progress and provide encouragement and motivation throughout the exam periodThe Ideal Candidate
Holds a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related Science subject
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is passionate about education and supporting young people to succeed
Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues
Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or school-based experience is desirable but not essentialWhat the School Offers
