Cleaning
Agency Cleaners & Kitchen Assistants Required - Wingate Area
Berry Recruitment Darlington is currently looking to register a number of Cleaners and Kitchen Assistants for temporary opportunities within schools in the Wingate area.
These roles are offered on a flexible, ad-hoc basis and are ideal for anyone looking to fit work around other commitments, gain additional hours, or earn extra income through part-time work.
Working Hours
Shifts are typically available between:
9:30am - 1:30pm
3:00pm - 5:30pmMonday to Friday.
Duties
Cleaning Roles:
Vacuuming and mopping floors
Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
Tidying classrooms and staff areas
Emptying bins
Dusting and wiping surfaces
Sanitising high-contact touchpoints such as door handles and light switches
Cleaning and sanitising desks and workspacesKitchen Assistant Roles:
Assisting with food preparation
Washing pots, pans and utensils
Cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces
Supporting kitchen staff as required
Requirements
Previous cleaning or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential
A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport would be advantageous
Reliable, punctual and able to work within a school environment
Pay & Compliance
£12.71 per hour
Paid weekly in arrears through Berry Recruitment
A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service is required, or applicants must be willing to apply for one
DBS application cost: £59.50 (if required)
