Responsibilities & Duties
Undertake cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, and polishing in designated classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
Clean and sanitize washrooms, toilets, and kitchen facilities to high hygiene standards.
Safely handle, use, and store cleaning equipment and chemical products in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish correctly and responsibly.
Report any maintenance issues, repairs, or hazards immediately to the appropriate school personnel.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations at all times.
Undertake such duties as may be considered appropriate by the Premises Manager or School Leadership in line with the needs of the service.
Requirements
Must have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
Must be able to provide two professional references which cover the last 24 months of work/study periods.
Previous cleaning or caretaker experience within a school or commercial setting is ideal, though a strong work ethic and attention to detail are most important.
