School Cleaner

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working school cleaner to join a friendly school environment on a part-time basis.

This role involves working split shifts, Monday to Friday, helping to keep the school clean, safe, and tidy for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Main Duties:

* Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.

* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying bins.

* Ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard.

* Replenishing supplies such as toilet roll, soap, and hand towels.

* Following health and safety procedures at all times.

* Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate person.

* Working safely around children and school staff.

Working Hours: 6:00am – 9:00am and 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Requirements:

* Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

* Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

* Good attention to detail.

* Able to follow instructions and cleaning schedules.

* Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

* A children's barred list check is essential due to working in a school environment around children.
