School Cleaner - Worksop
Academics, an established Education Agency, are currently recruiting a School Cleaner - Worksop to work on a supply basis servicing schools across the Worksop area. This is a temporary role, ideal for individuals seeking flexible, part-time hours within local education settings.
The Role
As a School Cleaner - Worksop, you will work on an ad-hoc supply basis and be assigned to schools as required. The role will normally consist of a couple of hours per day, either:
Morning: 6:00am - 8:00am
Afternoon: 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Duties will include general cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas, ensuring schools are clean, safe, and hygienic for pupils and staff.
Requirements
To be considered for this School Cleaner - Worksop role, applicants must have:
A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
Health & Safety training
COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) training
Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and correct use of cleaning products
The ability to easily commute across Worksop, as work may be across multiple school sites
A reliable, flexible, and professional approach to working within school environments

Pay rate: £13.68 - £14.00 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay and dependent on experience
Contract type: Temporary, supply-based role
