About the Role
We are currently recruiting a School Cleaner on behalf of a local school in Boston, Lincolnshire. This is an agency‑led position, offering reliable work within a school environment and ongoing support from a dedicated agency team.
The role plays a vital part in ensuring the school remains clean, safe, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
* Cleaning and sanitising toilets and wash areas
* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
* Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
* Replenishing soap, paper towels, and cleaning supplies
* Following health & safety and safeguarding procedures
* Maintaining high cleaning standards in line with school requirements
Requirements
* Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
* Understanding of hygiene and health & safety standards
* Enhanced DBS certificate required (or willingness to obtain one through the agency)
