Job Title: School Catering Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Manchester
Working Hours: Between 10:00am – 2:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Part-Time
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join our team at a welcoming local school. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and supporting the preparation and service of healthy meals for children.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
Setting up and clearing down the dining area
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
Supporting the kitchen team as required
What We’re Looking For:
A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Awareness of food hygiene standards (training can be provided)
Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
