TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly and well-maintained school in Durham. The school has a strong community feel and a supportive leadership team, ensuring a positive working environment for all staff.
The school is looking to appoint a School Caretaker on a long-term basis, working 2 hours per day, 5 days per week. The successful School Caretaker will be responsible for general site maintenance, opening and locking the premises, basic repairs, and ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times.
The successful School Caretaker will have:
• Previous experience in a caretaker or site management role
• Basic maintenance and DIY skills
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• A proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude
