Scheme Manager
Part Time | 20 Hours Per Week | 5 Days | 12-Month Fixed Term Contract | £14per hour
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Scheme Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a building complex in Stafford. The building is a over 55s retirement scheme.
This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a real difference to people’s lives.
The Role:
As Scheme Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth operation of the scheme, supporting residents with their wellbeing, safety and housing needs while creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
You’ll act as a key point of contact for residents, contractors, support services, and families, helping customers maintain independence and access the support they need.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing tenancy-related matters and scheme administration
* Reporting and coordinating maintenance and repairs
* Ensuring health & safety, fire safety and security procedures are followed
* Responding appropriately to emergencies and alarm calls
* Encouraging community engagement and social activities within the scheme
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Supervising cleaners/contractors where applicable
About You:
* We’re looking for someone who:
* Has excellent communication and people skills
* Is empathetic, calm and professional, particularly in challenging situations
* Can work independently and manage a varied workload
* Has strong organisational and administrative skills
* Understands the importance of safeguarding and resident wellbeing
* Is confident liaising with contractors, support agencies, and stakeholders
* Has experience within housing, property management, or facilities management (desirable)
