The Opportunity

We’re working with a well-established and growing telecommunications provider that is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to lead and scale their sales function.

This is a key hire for the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, managing performance, and developing a high-performing sales team within a competitive telecoms market.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of the sales team and pipeline, with responsibility for:

•             Managing, motivating, and developing a team of sales executives / BDMs

•             Driving new business revenue across telecoms solutions (connectivity, VoIP, cloud, hosted services, etc.)

•             Setting sales targets, KPIs, and clear performance expectations

•             Coaching underperformance and accelerating top performers

•             Maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management via CRM

•             Working closely with senior leadership on sales strategy and growth plans

•             Leading by example with hands-on sales activity where required

The Candidate

This role will suit someone who is currently managing a sales team within telecoms or a strong Senior BDM ready to step up.

•             Proven experience in telecoms sales (essential)

•             Demonstrable success managing and driving sales team performance

•             Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and pipeline management

•             Confident, credible leader with a hands-on approach

•             Commercially astute and target-driven

•             Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
