The Opportunity
MPJ Recruitment are working in partnership with a rapidly growing business within the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) space, offering an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join their team.
This role provides a genuine entry point into M&A, combining telesales, lead generation, and relationship-building, with exposure to how deals are sourced and completed. You'll be engaging directly with business owners and playing a key role in identifying new opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
Research and identify potential acquisition targets
Make outbound calls to financial advice firms
Build relationships with directors and business owners
Qualify and validate new opportunities
Maintain accurate CRM records and track activity
Book meetings and manage follow-ups for senior members of the team
Support with admin and project-based tasks where required
Gain exposure to the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence and deal processes
What We're Looking For
A strong interest in developing a career within M&A / corporate finance
Confident and professional telephone manner
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Target-driven with a positive attitude towards KPIs
Organised with the ability to manage workload effectively
Able to work both independently and as part of a teamExperience in a similar role is required, and full training will be provided.
