Sales Executive
Altera Recruitment Group are partnering with a growing clean technology business that is entering an exciting new phase of expansion following the launch of a refreshed product portfolio and brand strategy. The company has spent the last few years building strong relationships and is now introducing a new range of specialist solutions designed to help customers improve safety, efficiency and environmental performance.
With a strong pipeline already in place, they are expanding their commercial team to appoint a Sales Executive to help introduce these solutions to industrial manufacturers and maritime operators. This is a consultative sales role where you will take the time to understand how customers currently maintain and clean their equipment, before guiding them through trials and demonstrations that show a more effective and sustainable approach.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Executive include:
* Build and develop a pipeline of opportunities across industrial manufacturing and maritime sectors.
* Engage with customers to understand how their equipment cleaning and maintenance processes currently operate.
* Manage the full sales process from initial conversation through to trials, demonstrations and commercial agreement.
* Work closely with technical teams to ensure product demonstrations and customer onboarding run smoothly.
* Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings to strengthen brand presence and generate new opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience selling chemicals, industrial maintenance solutions or technical products into manufacturing or maritime markets would be beneficial.
* Ability to build credibility with operational, engineering and HSE stakeholders.
* Comfortable managing a structured sales pipeline and progressing opportunities through a consultative sales process.
* Strong relationship building skills and the ability to influence decision makers.
* A proactive and commercially driven mindset with a genuine interest in sustainable technologies.
