Sales Engineer Role - Manufacturing
Location: Warrington
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 doe (negotiable for the right candidate)

I'm supporting a leading manufacturer of metal, engineered components, and bespoke solutions in their search for a dynamic Sales Engineer. The Role
As a Sales Engineer, you'll act as the technical-commercial bridge between customers and the engineering team. Your focus will be on developing new business, nurturing existing accounts, and providing expert guidance on tailored metal solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Technical consultation - understanding customer requirements, interpreting drawings, and advising on manufacturability
Business development - identifying new opportunities across UK industry and building long-term relationships
Solution design support - collaborating with internal engineers to create bespoke proposals
Project management - overseeing orders from concept to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction
Market insight - monitoring trends and competitor activity to support strategic growthWhat You'll Bring
A background in engineering, ideally mechanical, manufacturing, or materials
Experience in a technical sales or customer-facing engineering role
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (CAD)
Strong communication skills and a consultative approach
