Sales Engineer
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer to join an Adhesives specialist who are based in Hampshire. This position will be remote and will be covering the North of the UK.
You will be required to be field based covering areas in the north including Macclesfield, Sheffield, Runcorn, Grimsby, Scotland and everywhere in between. The successful candidate will be required to visit their HQ based in Hampshire for training and other events.
Responsibilities:
Supporting distributors and customers in the North of the UK
Grow existing customer base and develop new business
Answering technical queries via phone and email
Visits to customers to help recommend, specify and introduce adhesives into a production line
Complaint support, investigation and troubleshooting
Technical training and new product training for distributors
Support with manning exhibitions when required
Track sales leads, samples and projects, ensure regular feedback from customers / distributors.
Support new product launches and promotional activities
Negotiate and provide pricing and quotations for customers
Requirements for this role:
Minimum of 4 years Sales / Business Development experience
Technically minded
Ability to build long lasting business relationships
Ability to manage a territory as if it’s your own business
Confident converting leads to sales
Full Driving license and own vehicleThe Role:
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm
Negotiable salary
Quarterly bonus depending on sales achieved
