Responsibilities
* Build and maintain customer relationships, actively managing client contact database to ensure it is kept up to date and encourage growth.
* Identify emerging market opportunities for the company or specific product lines.
* From initial enquiry, communicate client expectations to the project team.
* Maintain regular contact with customers.
* Prepare, update and deliver company presentations.
* Oversee LinkedIn and Facebook to maintain company visibility.
* Management of company website and subscription platforms to optimise advertising.
* Respond to enquiries relating to business opportunities and developments.
* Participate in customer meetings, including meet n greet, tender clarifications, etc.
* Asist with any company exhibitions, presentations or publications.
* Arrange and host corporate events as applicable.
* Ensure all enquiry details are accurately recorded and assigned to the relevant party, assisting department heads in the preparation of quotations as required.
* Support management of client/project expectations with team members and customers.
* Collaborate effectively with other company personnel and departments to ensure they receive a high quality and seamless service.
* Support Change Management within the project lifecycle, ensuring transparent communication between customer and operations.
* Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed within timeframe specified to meet business requirements.
Requirements
* Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate contracts and close deals.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Degree in Business Development or equivalent demonstrable on job experience.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Advanced MS office skills specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
