Sales Director – Commercial Fit Out (National Role, London Focus)
The current Sales Director is retiring in July after a long and successful tenure which is a clear reflection of the company’s culture and commitment to long-term careers.
This opportunity sits within the subcontracting arm of a global brand that operates with the values and closeness of a family-run business. They specialise in the design, manufacture, and installation of fit-out systems for commercial projects.
You will inherit a strong pipeline and established client relationships, with the first 6–12 months focused on nurturing and maintaining this base. The business is currently delivering CAT A projects with leading main contractors including Mace, McLaren Construction, Sir Robert McAlpine, Laing O'Rourke and Multiplex.
Longer term, the business is looking for fresh ideas, energy, and a clear strategy to drive growth particularly expanding further from CAT A into the CAT B fit-out market. Their growth plans include further penetration into CAT B, targeting contractors such as BW, Structuretone and Overbury.
The role has a national remit, with 80% of the projects concentrated in London. There is significant flexibility with home working.
My client is looking for a Sale Director with:
* Strong sales leadership background
* Solid understanding of the contracting environment
* Established relationships across main contractors, architects, developers and key stakeholders
* Subcontracting or specialist construction background preferred
* Commercially astute, people-focused, and capable of driving strategic growth

* £100K+ salary
